Wick
Too worn out to swing a pickaxe any more, so he's hired you. He's kind, he's scared of the House, and he isn't telling you everything about how he lost this mine.
A cozy mining game. Break stones, cut them open in time with the music, and bet what's inside against a crooked House to free the Folk he sealed away.
Steam and Kickstarter applications in progress · Free demo coming soon
The Folk (little creatures of stone and crystal) used to live in this mine. Now they're sealed inside the House's capsule machines, and the only way to get them back is to play his game.
Too worn out to swing a pickaxe any more, so he's hired you. He's kind, he's scared of the House, and he isn't telling you everything about how he lost this mine.
He owns the cutting bench and the capsule machines, and every Folk sealed inside them. Smug when he wins. Considerably less charming when he doesn't.
“Six Folk make a wall. Bring the walls home, and this mine is ours again.” — Wick
Every run goes a little deeper. Here's the loop you'll be playing.
Swing at stone seams, crystal veins and jade lodes for coins and stones. Hire a crew to keep swinging while you're busy.
Take your stones to the cutting bench and strike the rings in time with the music, across sixteen songs.
Three shuffled stones: your win, Jesper's win, or a tie. Win, and he matches every core. Lose, and he keeps the lot.
Pull the capsule machines to free the Folk, and collect keychains and pickaxe skins along the way.
Six Folk make a wall. Fill four walls and the portal lights. Go down, start a new run, and come back stronger.
Every Folk you free comes home to the Hollow, a warm little cave village that fills up as you play.
We're applying for our Kickstarter campaign now. Backers help finish the game, and get something to show for it:
